Crisis looked at his reflection in the mirror. His chest plate was resting against the wall behind him, and he was looking over his chest. Tendrils of Shade flows along his scales like shadows, caressing him gently. Old battle scars covers his torso too, along with two symmetrical scars under his pecs. They were fresh, and still healing. He sighed deeply, a concerned expression. “Still worried about what they’ll think?” Memoriae appeared behind him from a fractal glass-like effect in the air. The skydancer smiled softly to her father. “I wouldn’t be too worried. Nothing has changed after all.” He turned to her. “What if they think I lied to them all these years?” “You didn’t.” She nudged the chest plate. “The only thing you changed was your form. So you no longer have to use painful bandages while in public.” He nodded. She was right. He had been using bandaged around his chest since before he joined the clan. The only ones who knew about this were Reaper, the last leader of the clan

The elevator was moving down slowly. On it, two figures could be seen. A woman in a lab coat, and an army general. The general was a fairly pale, tall, and gruff man, having seen a fair share of battles in his life. He had a rough beard too. The doctor didn’t seem too much better off, having a rather unhappy look, while being on the short side. Her skin was dark brown, and she wore a generally decent suit right now, along with round glasses.
“Tell me, miss...” The general didn’t seem to pleased with her company.
“It’s Doctor, sir.” She snapped back at him almost instantly.

The rain was pouring down outside as the Empire’s mages and alchemists gathered in the big dome. In the middle, a massive spell circle had been prepared, looking more complex than most of what they had been working on before.
